McDonald's in Residential areas

A very similar situation has arisen in the community where I live. McDonald's plans to put up an outlet in a corner of a small public park in a avery peaceful residential area of southern Lahore. They have lured the local administration into "developing" the park at their expense. We had a taste of what it would mean. Already the Park spread over an area of only 15 acres has been dug up. This has prevented local enthusiasts like to use it for jogging or any other sports activity. McDonald's is putting up its outlet on a corner of this little recreation spot on an area of 1 acre. When completed, jogging track is defionitely going to be shortened and sports facilities restricted. On top of it we will have a stream of unwanted visitors enjoying the Big Mac at the cost of our peace of mind. Recreational facilities in our part of the world are already scarce and it is crimimnal to predate whatever we have. Can someone save our community from the Big Mac. The residents have taken up the matter to Court but big money have a lot of influence here. Can someone help us please
