McD in Swindon

The McDonalds in the town centre at Canal Walk, in Swindon, Wiltshire has caught the attention of the local council during the past few months.

The reason being that patrons are leaving their McD litter all around the restaurant, near other shops and generally making the entire area unattractive and another reason not to come into the town centre. The pigeons love this area outside McDs ... so do the rats!

While rats are on the decline in the nearby sewer systems, rats are on the increase near this McDonalds!

News of the rats also comes in the same week that fast food giant McDonalds promised to clean up its act after the council threatened legal action over litter outside its Canal Walk restaurant nearby.

Sadly, another example of a multinational corporation contributing to the decline of our environment and quality of life.
