Letter-writing campaign re: Breastfeeding in McDonald's

Posted by: M.Kirsch ( USA ) on February 08, 1997 at 00:38:27:

Regarding the incident of the breastfeeding mother who was asked to
leave McDonalds (yes, this did happen in Marlton, NJ), please write
letters to the McDonald's corporate headquarters and suggest that they
either undertaken a breastfeeding education campaign for their staff and
the public, and/or contributions to community organizations support
breastfeeding. McD's supports a campaign for children's health, as well
as the Ronald McDonald's houses; it should support an act that protects children 's health.

Also, the mother did not totally expose herself as McDonald's claims.

This mother did not violate any laws, as breastfeeding does not constitute indecent exposure in NJ.

Why anyone would want to take a child (of any age)
to McDonald's is hard to understand but here is the address of
McDonald's corporate headquaters in the USA-
< ul>
McDonald's Corporation
McDonald's Plaza
Oak Brook IL 60521
USA

Apparently you could also use this freephone numb er: 705-575-FOOD

or somebody else has suggested : 708 575 3000

If these numb ers work, please let us know.
