Shell Oil actions - 14th May

May 14th has been declared an "International Day of Action" against
Royal Dutch $hell Oil by the Free Nigeria Movement (FNM), Project
Underground, Speak Out, 50 Years is Enough, and other solidarity
groups worldwide. These actions correspond with the annual Shell
general meeting in London and the Hague where environmentalists and
human rights advocates will confront the executives of this powerful
corporate conglomerate.

As you may already know, the evidence against Shell is overwhelming
for their destruction of the environment in Ogoni, Nigeria, and for
their collusion with the murderous Nigerian military dictatorship.
Shell plans to begin drilling for gas in July, in the Peruvian Amazon,
on the lands of the Nahua and Kugapakori peoples.
