:I think that it's all about identity and that we invent nationalism, it doesnt exist, to suit ourselves and the values we find important and that born in libertarian tolerance and mutualist respect or parity of esteem it isnt all that terrible and could be integrated into a socialist or anarchist perspective although subordinated to internationalism or globalised society or anarchy. Any takers for a row? Are all in agreement then?

Integration of Nationalism with a socialist or anarchist perspective is not possible, in my view. Nationalism cannot exist without borders; either physical or emotional; surrounding and protecting a particular value system, culture or philosophy. All forms of Nationalism suggest a conflict with differing points of view, to the extent of the need to define the differences with a title, either ethnic or geographical in content.
