You know Barry, good scholarship can actually occur outside of your little world. If the term "good scholarship" is only ascribed to that work which supports a very narrow ideal, both the "good" and the "scholarship" are a mite suspect.
Well, as a communist, I am STRONGLY against any spirtualism---whether or not it supports socialistic conclusions.
BUT I admire any effort to back up one's position with well-documented citations (which is what Lark---who usually derogates 'hallowed bibles' of all stripes---did for once.
You, on the hand, have NEVER presented ANY citations other than the anecdotes that live in your own head...
