: : I followed the events in Kosovo very closely and am convinced that mass rape and torture and murder occurred.

: SDF: Having believed that in the first place, your suspicions were confirmed when... you repeated such suspicions of yours over and over again like a mantra?

Please don't be a jackass, SDF. I came to my beliefs in an objective way.

: Look, I scoured the Internet, all the anti-Serb web pages, for evidence of what you claim, during and immediately after the war against Serbia. We had a little debate within the Green Party about just what you claim. I found NOTHING. I'm sure we'd all like to know what you found that I didn't. How about some hard evidence?

I read enough accounts of eyewitnesses from relief agencies, as well as the Kosavars themselves, to believe that "ethnic cleansing" and its concomitant atrocities were taking place. Just because NATO was wrong in bombing Belgrade and other civilian Yugoslavian targets, this does not mean that, therefore, Milosevic was right. If anything, the bombing worsened the situation, but we were justified in principle in using force to protect the Kosovars.
