SDF: What I've been attacking is SECTARIAN MARXISM, Marxism that establishes itself as an "orthodoxy" and tries to settle questions with offhand quotes of the Founding Fathers of Marxism (rather than through empirical demonstration) while ostracizing those who don't believe every bit of it as "liberals". It should be fairly obvious that there are plenty of non-sectarian as well as sectarian Marxisms out there. If you don't get the difference by now, well, maybe you just don't want to.
