May I first say that's a fine post, I really intend to buy a copy of the federalist collection in book or whatever.

: So, when we relate these things to your post about militias armed to the teeth, all I can say is that so long as the republic is healthy and thriving, they will not gain any stronghold in this political system.

The problem is I don't think it is, the liberal founding fathers saw property and free enterprise as important but I think they valued the popular political republic a lot more than a lot of the neo-conservatives and 'libertarians' who want a dictatorship of business plutocracy and church.

:Just about every one of the factions you named are factions indigineous to local areas. You'll never find a chapter of the Michigan Militia in Montana.

Yeah but you do have the MOM, Militia of Montana, dont you? I've been to the sites of these people and they have a dumbass political programme aswell, I say dumbass because you could be a complete meat head patriot like Frenchy or prejudiced dogma spinner like DonS and understand it no bother (EG no understand of Politics or Economics required) but there's nothing dumbass about the gradual permeation of views and slow motion cultural coup that they are trying to effect.

That's not even considering the intentional nazi community compounds.
