"Animal Farm", a colourful critique on Communism which, in storybook
fashion, showed several reasons why communism ultimately failed.

Oh no! Another mis-reading of Animal Farm! How many can tehre be!!!! Orwell was a Socialist! bob Damnit!

:The two main reasons were corrupt leaders ( the theme of the novel being that "power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutelt") and

Erm, no, its a critique of vanguard revolution, and it hnges on the proles being inherently thick as pig-shit, note how they cannot be tuaght to read (the same attitude to proles is found in 1984). Its basically showing how the vanguard of pigs became the new rulers, because the otehr animals weren't conscious particpants in revolution.

:how workers grew lazy since all workers recieved the same amount of food in spite of how hard each member worked.

Cobblers, the Horse worked harder and harder, for less food - and the pigs bragged about it, as the Stalinists bragged about paying the workers less for more productivity. go and read the bvook again.

: Marx had not been so opposed to religious faith and institutions ( the very things that could have motivated the workers to work harder, and kept Communist/Socialist leaders from becoming corrupt).

in otehr words, accept Orwells critique of workers being obedient autonmata, and play them for suckers, huh?
