When you consider that the transformation of the economy and the next techological/industrial revolution will either lead to a mass of unemployed people (the information economy couldn't at it's best employ everyone and the service sector is drying up too as it goes ditgital) or such a reduction the whole society is effected by the means of production message of Marx sounds almost credible.
