Yes, I understand that, it's also the principle that I believe. But Marxists have the idea that outside of philosophy/ideals, competition is a bad idea.
If competing between us is a good thing, as we seem to agree, in order to arrive at a closer approximation of the truth, why wouldn't the same process also be a good thing in other areas as well?
