Nike keeps the workers working, with an allocation of capital no greater that four bits a head. Socialist systems need a military force - some sort of "people's army" - to keep workers at their appointed tasks. The former do their labor willingly; the latter need the prod of a gun barrel to stay at their work. Now, my bright friend, which of these systems might you characterize as a "sinking ship"?
