The more of Adam Smith I read the more I'm convinced the man was a bloody marxist, socialism would have been to liberal for him, it makes me wonder how so many cranks and corporate hacks can continually make reference to him when they betrayed his vision so long ago, hey Gee guess we have something in common after all, if capitalism was as the idealists intended it instead of the nightmare that is we could both live with it, who'd have thought?

Anyway considering what has happened in the transition from theory to practice it would appear a keynesian type regulation would be required for the smithian capitalist vision, to heck with that Socialism would be easier.
