: : I'll have you know that I follow a routine for my practicing, which I increase every 3-4 months. Right now I practice a minimum of four hours per day. That is on top of the two hours worth of music classes I have at school. Even when I am reading posts on this and other boards I have music playing to help train my ear. Tell me Barry, is there anything in your life that you have so much devotion to?: I would think that would be obvious.
: NONETHELESS I still make the time to do many other things. If I didn't I would BE a single task, not a human.
Barry, what I am trying to make you see that when you decide to become a musician, and excel at it, it would be very hard if you were constantly forced to switch jobs every so often and devote time to something you don't want to do.
