A word (or two) of advice

Garloo, allow me to give you a word advice: when debating here, especially with Barry, always examine the premises and fundamentals of every argument. Barry has this wonderful knack for quoting Lenin, Trotsky, Marx et al. until he (or you) are blue in the face. The thing that you need to realize is that when debating and using philospohical logic quoting someone else does not prove your point. The only way to prove something is to state your premises, justify them, and then build your argument from there. Any first year philosophy major/minor/just-taking-if-for-the-hell-of-it student will understand all the fallacies that can be run into along the way.
Quite simply, do not be intimidated by Stoller's appeals to authority, just examine his (and your own) arguments logically; do not get caught up in the rhetoric.
