: Equality = Marxism - Individual Freedom = Anarchism...

'Anarchism is bourgeois philosophy turned inside out.'---Lenin. Anarchism is but the repudiation of society's interconnectedness, a selfish ideology fully compatible with capital. What anarchism really desires is to simply set up shop again---with new monopolists controlling the means of production.

: Systems that rival capitalism - they either hold individual freedom to be the highest goal (at the cost of equality), or they hold equality as the highest goal (at the cost of individual freedom)...

You CONTINUE to posit one uniform standard of freedom. That is a primary mistake.

: Also, i realise the flaws of capitalism, why would i bother to defend it?

Let me recall you saying:

Example - two people pursue the same role in society (which they are completely free to do), but due to some personal attribute one of them is better at that role, and as a result that person is held in higher esteem and may even recieve greater rewards than the other (they are not treated equally because one is better at their job than another).

Is that NOT classic capitalist rhetoric?
