The posts about the capitalists being "individualist" as opposed to the socialists being "collectivists" just isn't true. Capitalists are individualists for public consumption only, and they act together as a class (i.e. demonstrate class consciouness) whenever they deem it necessary. For one important example, they regularly use the the brute force and coercive power of their much maligned goernment to intervene in labor disputes. I know, because I've seen it. Has anyone here heard of Arizona's Phelps-Dodge copper strikes of 1984? I was there and saw the National Guard beating up strikers.

So let's make it simple: Let's see what happens if capitalist governments worldwide cease breaking up strikes It could be a new world if they did.
