You can keep Athens, with all their pedophilia and slavery

: The two basic divisions are the political models of Sparta and of Athens. The former represents collectivization while the latter the importance of the individual.

It's really funny to see:

1) an anti-homosexual defending Athens (no further comment)
2) a hardline Christian defending a society which had virtually no sserious religion worth speaking of,
3) a militarist defending a weak, soft city state which coulnd't defend itself,
and
4) soemone who idolizes 'success' paying his respects to a city-state that got their ass roundly kicked by the Spartans every time around.

At least the Spartans didn't waste all their time trying to think up spurious defenses for slavery or inventing laughable physics, both of which were favorite pastimes of that jerk Aristotle.
