So for "ordinary murderers", i.e. those who stole someone's life but didn't do it in one of those qualifying ways, should be given free room and board for the rest of their life as a reward? I'm sure many people (in countries with less welfare) would murder just for that "punishment".

On the opposite hand, what cruel and unusual punishment! Hours upon days upon weeks upon months upon years and years . . . in some sort of earthly limbo. Nearly dying of boredom . . . how nice.

Let's definitely not kill them. They're so demented that they would kill another person, but, well, maybe they'll reform. So lets leave them alive to kill more.

I sincerely apologize for the flaming, sarcastic nature of this post. I'm not like that, and I agree with some of the ideas below. I just . . . oh whatever.
