: Workers cannot be led by the nose, through reform after reform, to Socialism, they can only reach it with a clear understanding and desire.

Fair enough, if you want liberation from anything it's got to be a DIY affair because only you yourself, not some vanguard or leadership, is going to have the adequate and appropriate knowledge about your plight.

However I think there is still a role for reform RD, if not reformism, SDF's position on these things, I believe isnt simply that the Greens took different positions to everyone else therefore they're different, I think he is suggesting that the Green Party's vision and organisation are democratic enough and the members have an appropriate knowledge of the need of self-reliant political struggle in order to make them a viable voting option. It's is the same as your suggestion that the SPGB is different when it stands for elections.

Besides even if it is a variety of state-capitalism or humanised liberal capitalism that is a consequence of reformism it couldnt hurt, it's a tactical issue, your black and whiteness is wrong, if the French had adopted that view after the Nazi invasion there would have been no resistance but just the vague notion that when the time was right the people would organise something.

What kind of wage slavery are you currently engaged in...
