To think anyone would give up a power structure

The whole history of the capitalist class is characterized by ruthlessness, treachery, violence, unfairness, manipulation, repression, etc. The working class must enter into its historic confrontation with capitalism with that understanding of its adversary or it will face certain destruction.

To think anyone would give up a power structure they control without fighting is unrealistic. It is not capitalists who attempt to keep hold of what they have, it is people.
