Ah, so someone is only to be considered vegetarian after 14 years' membership in the little vegetarian clique, and if they eat meat once or twice, they are no longer vegetarian. Sounds like fundamentalism. In fact, it is fundamentalism.
Most people who think fundamentalism is the rhetoric of the desperate are quite right.

So you can't handle that Hitler was a vegetarian, too?
Good lord, get over it.

Why does this 'Hitler was a vegetarian' thing keep coming up?
Hitler had a medical problem and was told by his doctor to avoid
eating animal products. That does not make him a vegetarian. While
he would avoid meat products during some periods he loved meat sausages.

Richard H. Schwartz, author of Judaism and Vegetarianism, states that Hitler would occasionally go on vegetarian binges to cure himself of excessive sweatiness and flatulence, but that his main diet was meat-centered. Other well-known Hitler biographers such as Robert Payne and Albert Speer have mentioned Hitler's predilection for such non-vegetarian foods as Bavarian sausages, ham, liver and game.

Anyway, what if he was? Do people avoid moustaches because Hitler had one?
