b: If free markets and capitalism are the natural expression of the human condition, why must so much psychological, emotional, physical, political and economic force be expended to preserve it?

Qx: Because it's basically a fraudulent argument that is very inaccurate when it comes to the human condition. Of course, the free-marketeers try to convince us that capitalism equals democracy but it's really manufactured propaganda.
