but it was an interesting statisitc. What was the source of that data, which must have been part estimation (especially on the poorest)? The validity of the data is vital for the 'what if' scenarios you painted.

I'll add that the sum of the wealth didnt exist before, that those 225 didnt pilfer from the 2.5billion - they were as poor, and the 225 (or at least the first generation of each) was at some point poor (ie inheritances must have a creator)

It may be true that if the rich paid a dollar to this or that, that poor people might get some - that would be jolly nice of them. But there is no debt.

The above is no doubt tarnished by some of those rich being state sponsored monopolists - i dont know the ID of the 225
