Sparticist League should have their own website. However, I may be able to help you a little.
I believe they were formed circa 1961 (?) resulting from a split from the Socialist Workers Party, a Trotskyist organiztion.
Recently they endured another factional split when SL expelled General Secretary, Jan Norden for engaging in political activites outside of SL. Norden and a few others formed a new group, though the name escapes me.
I encourage you to check out the Sparticist League web site for yourself, and also check some of the other organizations (e.g. Marxist-Leninist, Trotskyist, Anarchist, Socialist, 4th International, etc) to field some pro and cons about Sparticist League.
