Communism:1) A means by which well meaning, friendly, highly educated intellectuals defend robbery, murder, treason, genocide, and all sorts of other bemusing ways to break up the monotony of civilization. 2) A system in which the benefits of poverty are made available to all, save the Party members, who humbly deny themselves this boon (see 'secret police'). 3) A form of madness, now happily cured, except on several islands and in some dark places in academia.
