: A,merica has a responsibility to help out the Kosovan people, and if if people are unwilling to volunteer, that's unfortuante, but thsi cannot stop us from doing what's right

If they dont volunteer I hope you are not suggesting the horror of conscription?

: To die in the service of a just cause is teh noblest thing going.

To survive the same is even nobler then.

yes, I would sacrifice my life in the service of humanity, wouldn't you?

I would in pursuit of what I believe to be right. I wouldnt rush into a strangers machine gun at the dubious judgement of a stranger acting as my sergeant. Im not a 'good soldier'

: No, we'll need to do a better job than Iraq, we wiill need to let teh Kosovans choose their own government and national status.

that would be interesting. I wonder if 'they' would 'choose' one statist tyrrany to replace the last.

: Yes, it was our fault, for ruining Russia's economy and subverting their social system. We are responsible for Russia's ills, as well as for Yugoslavia, because tehy are a direct result of the cold war.

Subverting their social system? That was done from the inside, by poeple who did not dumbly obey the call of state. How else did we create Russia's ills? by bailing them out with food time and time again, thus allowing the regime you criticised to live longer. is the cold war a surprise when just after WW2 Russia starts claiming country after country as their own?
