Companies can sue gov'ts, even without the MAI

If you're interested in this topic, you'd do well to look at the NAFTA page from Public Citizen, paying special attention to the articles Ethyl Briefing Paper and Canadian Corporation uses NAFTA to sue the US.

The one on Ethyl is a bit old. It seems to me I heard that Ethyl won the suit, and the Canada has to pay, but I'm not certain. Anyone have more infor on this?
