Castration might make them less aggressive and thus less of a threat to the other 95.45% of the world.It isnt fairly common amongst Americans (although you said some, some being very few), its fairly common amongst the juvinile net surfing post and run type Americans (who dont really believe what they say, IMO, because they just want to stir) - which represent no one except themselves. These posts appear now and then in every forum in every form (eg in a libertarian site you'll find "well soon line you rich bastards up etc etc) and mean very little.
Still, all part of the nets rich pattern!
