See my other response, managers dont rule they offer employment contracts. if you dont like it choose something else or see about self employment. If you like it but want to change the conatrct then ask. if they really want you they'll be interested, if there are a 100 people banging on the door to do the same work for half pay then dont be surprised if they dont
