Now when shit happens it's a better idea to encounter that shit as what it is rather than try immediately and intergrate it into your ideology of choice.

I mean lots of shit has nothing to do with socialism, or the class struggle (if you like class struggle, I'm no great fan), and I can deal with it without requiring ideological sanction.

To try and make everything, absolutely everything, fit within your choosen ideology is a bit totalitarian, I believe that's the line of argument some people took against Strollers Behaviourism.
