The greatest thing that happened for American Socialism was the collapse of the ruling classes tennis partner, The Russian Bolshevist Empire, now the throughly democratic and libertarian tradition that brought you greats like the New Deal can take it's rightful place at the throne and rework the constitution for a peoples democracy for the 20th century and kill all the religious nuts and facists.
