: Ahhhh, but who recieves the "booty" is the definition of whether its "good" or "bad." Should the economy be fixed for the benfit of the elite few or the great mass of citizens? Don't give me any hash about individuals and individual contracts, I'm looking at the question from a macroeconomic perspective.

SDF: But giving people hash about individuals and individual contracts is Gee's chosen duty to the McSpotlight C&A board! The above is like asking a fundamentalist Christian about the probable causes of the Cretacious-Tertiary boundary -- since fundamentalist Christians don't believe in the existence of the Cretacious-Tertiary boundary, they have no answer that fits the specifics of the question. To get back to your question, Gee will probably answer that the economy shouldn't be fixed, everything should be left to private property and the free market.
