There are bags of threads to filter the pro-arguments from, sites like these probably furnish many many essays, and maybe even a book or two.

: P.S. Gee your last psot to me said I thought everyone who disagreed with me was a facist,

It was in response to "rework the constitution for a peoples democracy for the 20th century and kill all the religious nuts and facists."
Which sounded fascist in itself to me, although I did rather assume you did not *mean* to go about killing them.

: take everything I say with a pinch of salt (or chilli sprinkles, that's what I prefer), it's all banter

I like to hear what you have to say, even when it seems wild, but the occasional promises of violence would be a little scary if you meant them.

: I fundamentally disagree with you but I can empathise with a fellow politico easily, at least your not apathetic.

Thanks, I think. I'm not sure you do disagree with me as much as we might think - we (socialists and libertarians) tend to rail against the same things - big statist governments, nasty business-statist relationship replete with imperialism and in general - the initiation of force.

The solutions offered are simply different because the philosophical assessment of mankinds nature is different.

State loves, well theyre entirely another 'breed' philosophically - a state socialist has less in common with you or RD, as stateless socialists, than with me - uncomfortable thouigh it may sound.
