: A Free Market is a market with out any gov. regulations, restrictions. It benifits two groups i can think of, the rich and smack heads.

Why only those groups? Or did you actually mean they are the only groups you can think of?

: When the govt sets up a budget they don't budget for a profit margine. You will always get better services for your dollar from non profit orginations, because there isn't some "billy gates" skimming billions for himself at the top.

You appear to be missing the point. First the skimming is done by friends of the government instead of "billy", second the contractor who makes extra is not wrong according to you, which kind of contradicts the above.

The greater point is to ask - would you have bought exactly the same bundle of goods with the money that was taxed and otherwise weaseled out of you by the state? I doubt very much that you would. The waste is in the fact that you blow half your money (the taxed bit) on crap you wouldnt buy at a bring n buy garage sale because you dont get a choice in the matter.

Unless you think those nice baby kissin' folk must know better than you.
