interest article with an agenda

It was interesting, some of it rung true (esp the way govt messes up education etc - shouldnt be 'doing it' in the first place) and alot of it rung "agenda" (and so it should if its from a 'radical left' webzine).

When I compare that with articles written by Americans, and Brits who've made it through the very anti brit green card & immigration system, their message is overwhelmingly supportive even whilst being rich with gripes. One I have heard often is the statement made by ex-pat Brits that returning to Britain is always such a dismal depressing affair - that seems odd, it just cannot be that bad.

If there is a point its that being poor in any country is less fun than being on average wages.

So i took all this opinion with a couple of kilos of salt.
