: Do you not get just the tiniest sense that you are setting yourself up as the arbiter of reality? How is comparative advtage just ideology? Does not a faster Zebra have comparative reality over its slower 'herdmate' and is it not in its interest to have such?

SDF: Zebras don't have "interests," they are too stupid, and comparative advantage is YOUR ideology, like duh... people don't "naturally" compete, they compete because it's been made into a great game by capitalist society... one can see this in the proselytization of standardized testing in pre-capitalist societies, instead of working separately for "comparative advantage," the testers will work together to complete the test, one can see this in the enormous successes of co-operative learning demonstrated in the research record... what we're getting from Gee is more of the human nature fallacy, repeated again and again and again to give it the semblance of "truth" that exists in the minds of those who repeat mantra in transcendental meditation...
