Uh, there's a lot of confusion in this thread as to who said what, it's impossible to follow... let's try to avoid confusing the actors, Lark, CP, Marcos... Lark doesn't agree with Marcos, he made that clear before... and I couldn't resist

: No Mcsputnik I am indicting your entire school of thought by its long disastrous history of implementation. Why don't you come off your elitist ivory tower and admit that socialism and communism

SDF: Socialism by Marx's standards has never been implemented before. If it had, you'd have seen an industrialized society somewhere on the planet that did away with money and the state apparatus. OTOH, communism in its primitive variant is what you see in nomadic tribes. There's also "socialism" as a word for the sort of society they've built in Sweden, or Kerala (in India), etc. Ask Nikhil Jaikumar about that.

This has all been said many times before on this thread, but if you like you can get together with the Maharishi and repeat the mantram "it's been tried before, it failed" over and over again, and this will wipe out communism while at the same time eliminating the need for serious thinking. It's all in your mind, you see.
