: Fatal aswell. I would suggest rationing would be resisted and attempts as spiking would require a mass of productive free trade. Any changes would occur after a great majority had changed their minds, not be stimulated by changes to the current set up.
Well, as to rationing, people didn't like war-time rationing because it was *highly* restrictive, I would suspect that we could set quite a high bar on the ration, so as to be able to expect most people to not need to actual use their full ration entitlement up, say a cap of ten packs of bog-roll, to prevent people mass hoarding such things, but enough so people can still more or less freely take what they need, well, we'll decide such things at the time.
: this would only be possible after (or during) the great majority deciding to pursue this.
Exactly, but that is the idea of the revolution.
: Weightlifters, being quite strong, would do well.
Still curtailed by the volume of their hands ;)
: All hoping the abundance is realised.
Which is easilly possible.
: Which small group? Relative to their neighbours it could be big, and 'ourt brothers in Indonesia' may not have the resource to respond, or even the will.
This assumes that a big enough group will be formed, and that would require it to establish a seperate interest...
: Thats one possibility. The other is that there is economic interest in acquiring via force people and objects and that a sufficiently powerful group may do this unpoliced meeting only the resistence of the immediate victims rather than everyone. Not in my backyard, and the US isnt in Indonesias backyard, it cant happen here, were sop much nicer etc etc.
No, since the revolution would be made by a determined majority, such actions would be met with resistance by the mejority who understand such local affairs can undermine the whole deal. Solidairity...you see...
