Who cares about inefficiency?

The present "order" isn't very efficient if you ask me and we're going to see changes soon when resources being to run out fast and the regular working man and women have to priced out of the markets for produce and services that put a drain on resources.

Anyway, providing that it manages resources, especially scarce resources more sensibly, I don't care if it's inefficient as hell.In political terms centralism and dictatorship is efficient as hell to the Machavellian politician but we all make the choice for a politically inefficient relatively libertarian and democractic order because it's a matter of freedom right? So why would a similar choice in the economic realm baffle such apparently intelligent and enquiring minds as the many capitalist ideologues?
