because they cant. If they can do it today they might be able to do it tomorow, but next month...phew - theyre running out of resources just thinking about it.

Bottom line - companies have a bottom line, not an infinite and constantly replenishing reserve of capital with which to fend off every competitor for ever and ever amen.
