: : Frenchy's dad, may he rest in peace, is irrelevant to this argument and you know that.

Of course he's irrelevant. This is because he proves in life what you try to disprove in theory, sort of like scientists who can prove that it is an aerodynamic impossibility for a bumble-bee to fly. "Can't be done you know, the angle of attack of the leading pair of wings combined with the counter rotational vector forces of the Bumble-bee's center of gravity makes it patently clear that the lift to load ratio cannot possibly..." yadda yadda yadda. The bumble-bee flys. No?
Gort's experiences are also irrelevant to your world view.
By the way, how many people do you hire?

: My post was simply in questioning the apparent criticism of Frenchy's dad in SDF's post. Maybe there was no criticism, but I thought it worth bringing up.

: : What do you think about liberation theology?

: I would doubt the actual benefit of invoking a theological view (which is all theology can actually be, because all theology is agnostic, unknowing) in any situation, except as evidence of views in and of themselves.

I totally disagree with this, but I have to say that is a much more respectable position than combining an atheist's political philosophy with the traditions of Catholicism to acheive thier ends.
