Would you prefer to live in a communist society where a few "evil" people who only got there by knowing/being related to the Head Person. Capitalism is a winner takes all society, so its kill or be killed and in that situation people kill, rather than be killed. If you dont like the way in which things are done in capitalism go to China or Burma and be at the mercy of incompetant, lying, depraved, despots or stay where you are and be at the mercy of lying, depraved, suits with a few ounces of sense. I know where i'd rather be.
