Premature revolutions

I'm not 'defending' either revolution's timing---or outcome---unequivocally. I feel strongly that the (capitalist) mode of production must be advanced in order to succeed. Nonetheless credit is due to both Lenin and---especially---Castro for improving the lot of the proletariat within the significant circumscriptions their revolutions faced.

To suggest that either the (second)1917 revolution or the Cuban revolution was a coup is, of course, erroneous.
