What about Exxon?

But Sam, raising the enormous amount of money to start a commune (after your loan is squared away!) and then starting one will only, if the members are so inclined, halt eco-devastation there. How do communes halt Exxon's ravages? Don't we need to take those badly-managed means of production from them? Or you you think Exxon will be halted by a boycott or two?
