Dateline: Berkeley...Like Berzerkeley, Ca.? Yup.

Samuel Day Fassbinder; just for you.

Edmund Morris was a Black Oak Books, in Berkeley Wednesday night, promoting his new book. Here's what he had to say about Reagan;
"I think he was a great president." Morris said. "I think the world was largely changed by his presidency."
"What we don't see now- that testifies to Reagan's presidency. Where's the Soviet Union? Where's the Berlin Wall? Where's the national malaise? Where's double digit inflation? Where's the welfare state?"
These things have disappeared, Morris said. "I voted for him," he said.

There were no mass hysterics at these comments, no threats of civil disobediance, no shreiking or denunciations. "...100, squeezed between book shelves at the bookstore, took in his comments without a blink."
