I don't think it's inconceivable to craft reformist campaign finance laws which would minimize the corrupting influence of money, while still allowing citizens to band together to purchase airtime for issue-advocacy ads. Nothing we do will be perfect, but the system we have now is so corrupt, I'm willing to scrap it altogether and start fresh.
