It's a commonplace to say that this isn't the era of the 1st International. Alas, the era of the 2nd is still with us.
Let us not fight for socialism. Let us merely ASK the landlords and factory bosses for it. If we ask real sweetly, I'm sure they'll oblige us with yet another capitalism with a HUMAN FACE.
Because of our fear of losing, let us submit entirely to TINA and whatever austerity measures the IMF imposes on us. Let us elect a 'third way' and go back to our jobs at whatever pay the bourgeoisie wish to pay us.
Let us enjoy our advantages paid for by the proletariat of the 3rd World.
