Dedicated to all the McInformation Network team,
this poem may be considered a light hearted warning.
There is life beyond HTML ;-)

My Life Gone...
by Derek E. Christner

Tonight as I surf accross the Internet
I dream and I think of where I've went
Not F.T.P. or H.T.M.L., but L.I.F.E.

you see, for me, my love is gone
Away from me like death 'till dawn
As nite grows darker, my pains grow fierce
Like a sharp cutting swords, stabed inside me, they pierce!

I made a mistake, so help me God
I screwed up my life, oh well you see
I can't change it back, that's life indeed.
For I once loved a woman that cared for me
The best thing in life that ever happened to me
The love that we shared was never fake but real
I can't explain it now, for its no longer our deal

I broke up with her in the November rain
as my thoughts in life had changed without pain
I smashed her down in my attempt to be God
But I was lost without hope ontop my selfrighous M.O.D.

This method of destruction shattered deep within my soul
as I tried to fly without any wings in the air behold
I crashed to the ground from the sky unfold.
My love thus gone, dreams, life, out of site...

For now I sit alone and cry at my site!
F.T.P., H.T.M.L have now become my L.I.F.E.
Deleting the cache of all the memory that I have been accumulating.
Soon realizing oh how my life is deteriorating.
